At 7:30pm we have an INT Hustle lesson w/ Marc & Rose in the main ballroom. In the front room we will have a BEG West Coast Swing class.

Social Dancing starts at 8:30 PM and ends at 11 PM. DJs Tim and Becky will be spinning tunes all night!

The music played at the dance will be primarily West Coast Swing, and Hustle.

Water will be available, and we encourage people to bring their own beverages and snacks.

This pattern-free, concept-based format will focus on 5 techniques essential to both social and competitive WCS Dancing.
1. Timing
2. Grounding
3. Framework
4. Momentum
5. Collection & Redirection.
Tier 1 content, concepts, and collection & redirection drill are essential for all WCS Practitioners. Repeat students are encouraged to come to build their competency and variations on the drill.
Pre-requisite: Dancers should be able to execute the Four foundational WCS Pattern Structures: Left-side pass, Right-side pass, Push Break/Sugar Push and the basic Whip

Each 90 minute session will provide 45 minutes of intense focus on foundational techniques, followed by 45 minutes where dancers will rotate partners and practice implementing learned skills together.

During practice, instructors will provide individual critique and guidance to help ensure students are properly integrating these skills into their dance.
